To ensure the confidentiality of your membership information and to protect your privacy, we do not send personal information via email. Likewise, we suggest you refrain from providing personal information (e.g., your Social Security number or EmplID) when emailing NYSTRS.

Secure Messaging in MyNYSTRS

With secure messaging, members can safely include personal information when writing to NYSTRS. Accordingly, we can respond with information specific to your membership. Message us from the Tools > Secure Messaging page in MyNYSTRS. We will respond within three business days.

Mail

Our mailing address is 10 Corporate Woods Drive, Albany, NY 12211-2395. Documents mailed to NYSTRS will be considered filed on the day they are mailed if they are mailed by registered or certified mail via the U.S. Postal Service, or by an equivalent delivery service that provides mail tracking and is approved for use by the System. Please see the list of delivery services currently approved by the System.

Our regular office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday. During the summer, our office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday.
