Ms. Longtin was elected to the Retirement Board by the New York State Board of Regents on the recommendation of the New York State School Boards Association. She chairs the Ethics Committee and serves on the Audit and Investment committees.
The owner and president of Lighthouse Insurance Agency, which she founded in 2002, Ms. Longtin has also been owner and president of Longtin Properties, a real estate management firm, since 2009. An insurance professional with extensive experience in the industry, she began her career as an insurance agent with Metropolitan Property & Casualty Insurance Co., where she was honored as one of the country’s top agents.
Ms. Longtin is a member of the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Board of Education, serving one year as board vice president and one year as board president. She is a graduate of Siena College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting and management.
