If you received a new mobile device for Christmas, Hanukkah or other occasion, be sure to download the new NYSTRS app. The app can be added to any Apple or Android smart device.
With the app you can:
- Read the latest Headlines found on NYSTRS.org;
- Find and get directions to consultation sites statewide;
- Quickly and easily call NYSTRS (the iPhone version even allows for dialing directly to the appropriate extension);
- Determine pension eligibility by tier of membership; and,
- Watch the countdown to retirement by entering a hypothetical date in a countdown clock.
Versions of the app are available for both Apple and Android devices, and can be downloaded from the Apple and Google Play stores (see links below). Additional functionality will be added to the app with future releases.
